Just curious if anyone had any thoughts on why my sled does this, once its warm when I even take the slack out of the throttle cable the sled instantly goes from idle at 1800 up to around 3500... there is no middle ground, it just jumps up. My thought was that with my insanely short charge tube I dont get vaccum in the airbox at all, as soon as you even get the engine warm and spinning the turbo a little, there is gentle positive pressure on the carb slide lines so they will just blow right open as soon as you open the butterflies?? just curious as this is kinda annoying as its really jumpy try to load and things, and im thinking it also contribuites to my rich low end as the slides blow open to easily. making my low throttle crazy high afr like I have. my boost gauge is plumbed into my airbox, so I know it has no vaccum/boost at idle once warm, and as soon as you rev it to just below engagement, the boost need starts to move from the vaccum side of zero to the positive side, not boost yet, just not vaccum like the slides would see stock.
just trying to bounce ideas of you guys before I start messing with things.
my initial thought was to take my springs out and try to stretch them a tiny bit to jack up my preload, thus cleaning up my bottom end.
