tuner, if you have a 121 inch, it might take you two hours complete to do this relatively simple job installing a rear heat exchanger, beer drinking included. I would think a dealer who has done them before could do it in an hour, problem is many smaller dealers may never have done one. You should check out Kaz's advice and do a search for "Help rear heat exchanger" from Jan.25/2007 and ROCKERDAN gives detailed instructions. Just use a hacksaw blade. Skid plate is reasonably easy also. Oil change is no problem, and filter change is... let's say entertaining. But once you've done it, piece of cake after that. All instructions can be found in searches.

gitrdun said:radta7's Attak rear heat exchanger is larger and a few more rivets than a 121 inch. I believe the part number 8EP- RHECR-KT-00 is about 80 to 100 dollars in the US depending where you buy.
My dealer says he can't order that part any more. the new part is 8FT-124A-00000.
Price is $325.00 just for parts!!! OK, so no rear cooler for me this year.

Heat Exchanger
I think I would check with a different dealer. I added the rear heat exchanger to my warrior for about $100 with shipping. The guards where about $10 bucks and a couple of hours work fabricating them.

Allen,
Is there a difference between the old 136" cooler and the new one besides price? Any pics of the protectors for 136's?
