I just pulled the skid out of the phazer fx to find the rear shock "non coilover" compresses all the way with a little resistance but then dosen't seem to want to come back out on it's own. The rear springs are disconnected and all but is this normal? Every shock I've ever delt with never seem to stay compressed like that. Thoughts opionions?

no sounds like u have a blown shock. id have it rebuilt. the KYBs use junk oil and it thins out realy fast and can cause the seals to go quicker. plus if ur having problems with bottoming u could have it revalved while its out. well worth the money. my buddy delt with blown shocks after 300 miles in his F6 for 3 years and finaly had my boss revalve and rebuild them this year. totaly differnt. 4X better then new. both shocks cost under 90 bucks total well worth it. not i dont have to listen to oww my back hurts lol

it's blown - take it in for warranty - I've seen a few of the clickers that way.
