I have purchased a 2006 Apex RTX and am contemplating a Fox Mega Float, 136" MW extensions and an Intense track. My question is this, does anyone know if the swingarms on the RTX are different lengths than the factory 136" LTX swingarms?
I will install the rearward idlers in the tunnel also.

I guess what I'm sayin is, if I go 136" do I want to find some LTX swing arms or can I use the originals? They will be reinforced as well.

Your swing arm will work, and the Mega Float shock will bolt right in.
Muffin Works makes great products, and if you are sending your rear skid parts to Brian from HalfBaked, for the Beef-Up Kit, he is the man, and he does very nice work. Had both my Mono skids done by him.

If by swing arms you mean front and rear arms then yes they are same lengths. You can run extensions on the 121 to make it a 136. Run your track a little looser as it will tighten up as suspension collapses. I put LOTS of miles on Mono in my RX1 extended to 136"

Thanks for the replies! Yeah, I guess Rear Pivot Arm is the correct name for what I called the swing arm (grew up on a dirt bike).
My next question woud be about the rail extensions. Do I want tip ups if I'm only going to 136" or do I want all of the footprint I can get?

The 121" rear swingarm works with the 136" upper idler shaft as it was done by Yamaha on the later models this way. This allows the rear idler wheels to be left in the stock location without contact of the rear swingarm with the suspension collapsed. The 136" models had the highest slider wear in the same area the 121" had the wheels.
