Regular to Premium.

Next tank I will try regular.Never have before.Always Premium.I would say average is 13mpg with best of 23mpg and worst of 8mpg.

Always premium for me, or 50/50 turbo blue and premium. Never Ran Regular in mine either. The turbo blue makes it snappy as hell

5000 kms on my baby with only minir malfunctions. I've always ran 87 because thats all we get here in the north pole, but I do add 3 L of 118 Track Tek race fuel to every jerry can dumped into her. works out to 91.28 octane i think. good enough for me !!!!!

More important than regular vs. premium is oxygenated vs. non-oxygenated. If at all possible, do not use oxygenated fuel. Here in MN, non-oxygenated is 91. By running 91 non-oxygenated, you get the best of both worlds.

I agree. We dont have a choice here. Its all 10%.The gas really seems to cause issues in my kids little dirtbike with a carb.No issues otherwise but I do always run some Isopropyl (red bottle)in also.

Hey guys Ethanol Gasoline 101 I am a Service Technician in the Petroleum Industry doing service and maintanence at gas stations. If you run 10% Ethanol in your sleds or anything else it has a very short shelf life 2 months or so and it's properties want to seperate immediately. Condensation or water depending on amount stored this process can accelerate and is called phase seperation causing ethanol and water to settle to the bottom of the tank. It is a fact that it produces less power than gasoline without Ethanol 20-30% or so.

Just a short story pulled a guy out of the bush on a Ski Doo with a blown motor. Started asking questions and found it was his first ride of the year with last years fuel Etahnol based and sure enough phase seperation had occured and straight Ethanol or an E-85 will absolutely blow your sled up or anything else that is not Flex Fuel capable. Just for your own testing take 2 glass jars 1 with no Ethanol Gas and 1 with Ethanol Gas and put water in both jars and gas and leave outside in below freezing temps shake and observe after a day or so. This stuff is the biggest bag of poop Washington D.C. ever bought.

I just put some 89 in mine to try out, and plan on going down to 87 if the Knock sensor does not go off. I've noticed that the 2010 models except the RTX are listed as 87 octane so I wonder if they have either A) dropped the compression, B) changed the computer settings, or C) Typo on the MTX and GT spec sheets.

Might be becaues of the 2012 emissions. I think thats the same why snox mover from 440's to 600 and it being cheaper.

One thing about the emmissions side is that just becaues they improve gas milage always does not.
