I think the hose diameter is to small to pull gear lube. It's pretty much for pulling fuel and squirting into the carb. Might try a suction gun with a longer hose

I just loosened the screws holding the cover/oil bag and GENTLY pried it open and let the chainlube leak out. Retighten screws, fill with fresh lube and go.

I have a 12v electric syphon pump that I use to syphon oil out of my Sea Doo through the dip stick tube.

I plan on using this to syphon the oil from the chain case.
