Hey guys, I would like to pull off my subframe this weekend to install the Grizz Gusset. Are there any instructions on how to do this or it it easy enough to find all the bolts that hold it on? I assume after I pull off the plastics and and suspension the subframe will be accessable? Any advice would be great. Thanks.

Hope this thread helps. Click on the link for 'Grizz photobucket page' I plan on doing this throughout the summer as well.

I did mine a week or two ago, you dont even need to remove the a arms or shocks. About 6 or 8 bolts on each side to hold it once the plastic is off. Dont forget to hold up the motor and chasis though.

Thanks for the info guys. What did you use to hold your engine in place?

oh nvm I get it. The engine and chassis will still be tied together, just have to support it under the running boards or whatever. Gotcha!

Is it safe to leave it supported on the engine? The sled is at the lake, I want to bring the frame home for the week to weld.

No problem leaving it supported by the engine oil pan.

I wouldn't support it by the oil pan. Here is the basic procedure for removal: Subframe removal
