When should I replace the springs in my primary and secondary clutches? I just got the clutch kit from Ulmer and it retains the stock spring in the secondary on xtx sleds. I have 3k miles on the sled so I wanted to know if I should replace the secondary spring while it's apart or if it will last for 6k+ miles and I'll bet set.

I would replace so when you try the clutch kit you know all the springs are new because the old will have a sag to it so it best to start with new and it will be better to find tune the clutch kit that my recombination.

Ok say I replace it with a new one. Does this mean I have to keep replacing springs every couple thousand miles?

no but they should be changed every few years to get the best performance out of the sled.
