Hi
Just bought a 2019 Sidewinder where the reverse didn't work, it just grinded when I tried to go backwards. When I opened the chaincase, the shaft where the upper reversegear is was snapped clean off on the engine side in the chaincase. Has anyone seen it happen before, and what could be the cause for it to snap?

I would think it's from putting it into reverse before the sled has come to a complete stop.

Anti-lag starts in reverse? There's nothing that limits throttle in reverse. System is not made for anything but creeping in reverse. My guess is someone shifted to reverse and gave 'er hell, especially with lots of studs. NFG.

Reverse chains are often quite loose. Don't want to snap them when backing - easy does it in reverse.
