I went from a 121" 1 1/4 ripsaw to a 144" cobra. Keep in mind i extended but its night and day diffrence. My ridin partner has a nytro 144" with a ripsaw with studs and it dosnt hook up even half as good on trail or off.. Everybody recomended me a cobra so i went with it and am very happy. My nytro buddy is even considering a cobra swap. His ripsaw is only a 1 1/4 though.

Definately the Cobra, I'd reccomend it anyday!
To me, its better in every way, especially since its been 3 years on the track and not one stud pull through (not important in your case) or lug removed. Also, you mentioned you didnt like loosing lugs??, then you definatley dont want the ripsaw!

Guys, you really helped me make my decision. This summer it is getting a new cobra 136, extrovert drivers, on a new HD driveshaft, with new shaft bearings.....all 4. Also the pioneer drop wheel kit, yam 4th wheel kit, and pioneer will freshen my mono shock. Thanks for all advice, and recommendations.

I went from128 1.25 rip saw and extented to 144 1.37 cobra plus super charger. My dealer who has a Nitro with 1.5 ripsaw with blower says the cobra is the track to go with. we line up a number of times and the cobra hooked up better every time. No matter who was on the sleds. Cobra wins all the time. |Top end speed not really a big deal when your in deep snow.

Granto, I think I got sucked into the same trap as you. I bought a used yami, thinking that they were very reliable. Now I gotta keep sinking $ into this thing. By this summers end, I'll have every aspect of the machine rebuilt, except the engine....yes that is reliable. I do love this sled, but I guess to answer your question, YES, I must like wasting $$$$LOL!
