I decided to go up to TUG HILL today in NY to get in my first ride of the season before the rain this week washes all the snow away. Although they have not had any major lake effect snows yet this year, they have received about 18" of snow spread over the last 5 days. I put about 90 miles on my 2005 RX-1. Trails were in very good condition. Weren't to many sleds out. The only sled I came across also had a 2005 candy apple red sled just like mine. Stopped and talked awhile to him. He also has a new Polaris Fusion, he has put about 150 miles on each sled. Says he likes the fusion alot, but it does have alot of vibration compared to the RX-1. This gut also had a 2004 PRO X2, a 2004 Rev and a 2004 Warrior last year. Must have more money then I have. The southern part of the hill had more snow then the northern area. About 8-10" of solid packed snow on the area around Highmarket. If anyone not from NY wonders where TUG Hill is. Take a NY map and locate Syracuse, Utica, and Watertown. Connect the triangle and you have the Tug Hill area. The part in the middle of the triangle without any roads through it, is the main part of the hill. Looks like rain this Friday for the shoot-out,
