I finally got to run my MTX in DEEP snow, some of the ditches and fields around here have 4+ feet of powder. On the trails I turn 11,400rpm all day long from bottom to top, Out in the powder she could only turn ~10,700, is that pretty normal? On some steeper hills It was able to maintain a 40-42mph track speed while probably moving at ~15mph is that about normal for these? flat field It would run about 50mph track speed flat out at what felt like about 30-35mph. Longtrack and powder is pretty new to me, on the plus side I did get to make circles around my buddies 11' IQ Shift 136" when he got stuck.

Ditto on all fronts! Went out two days ago, playing in untracked fields, ditches and some smaller lightly forested hills. I also noticed that for once I wasn't able to hit the rev limiter. It seemed like wide open throttle in the deep stuff I was showing track speed around 40-45, with an actual speed much much lower. I'm guessing this is why everybody wishes there was another 20-30 hp in the phazer. I've got the 17t gear in mine. I also enjoyed running a slow, leisurely circle around my buddy who was stuck on his 2000 vintage skidoo 600 with a 136

Unfortunately that doo was smoking me on wide-open runs across the field, but I had him to about 45 mph (track speed at least)

Just picked up a roller secondary with multi angle helix, i'm hopeing this with cure the deepsnow/climbing bog. Will post some results if im successful??? I have been able to adjust clutches to maintain good rpms climbing but it ends up over reving on the flats.
