With 4000 miles on my 2012 Vector, I am not too worried about new shocks yet, but was wondering what people are replaceing the non- rebuildable shocks with when the time comes.
Thanks,

Are you 100% positive they can't be rebuilt?

I do not see the fitting for the nitrogen charge, or where the body is threded for disassebly.

If it's an aluminum bodied shock, it should be rebuildable.

The nitrogen charge fittings on mine face inward towards the upper bulkhead. They can't be seen either but I can feel them with my finger.

Well that would be nice. I'll have a better look.
Thanks!
Thanks!

They were re-buildable on my '05 so I'm pretty sure yours are too but I replaced mine with the GYTR piggybacks and I love them!

I found the gas fitting of the shock up by the bulkhead, the shocks are re-buildable. Yeah!
Thanks

Thought they were rebuildable! The "book" says that at 4000 miles they can be recharged. I can't wait to ride my 2014 and see if the fronts need revalving (softer) like my 05 did. Made a huge difference in ride quality.

Sort of off topic, but I am curious how the newer, non GYTR, front shocks work compared to the GYTR's?
I have been kicking around the idea of getting a EPS Vector for a while now, but one of the things that has stopped me from looking too hard, is the fact they no longer come with GYTR's. Those, and not having the side tunnel shock adjustment make me wonder if it is worth it to upgrade or should I just keep my 2008 non eps 121" Vector?

FWIW Irv - I have had numerous sleds with adjustable front shocks. NEVER did I play with the settings. Set them to the softest setting and just ride. IMO - if you are holding back on getting a sled with EPS because you can't get clickers......well.....I'll say it nicely.....this is not a good decision.
Also, the mono shock itself on my 2014 has a compression clicker. Might have rebound too....have to check. The M10 on my 2005 has dual Ohlins clickers......I never adjust them. Found the right spot on both and they stay there.

Irv GYTR's are some what easy to come by. With the eps you might not need different shocks. EPS is very nice
