RSI heating elements

Is it possible to position the heating elements to be able to use the stock grips and rivet them back on?

I didn't use the stock grips, I used the RSI grips with the RSI heaters but I did rivet the grips on.

I was able to pull the stock grips off but you can't use them with the RSI elements. The stock heating elements have a foam tape under them that builds up the diameter quite a bit and when you install them with the RSI elements they are way to big!
