does anyone have a source for a RED chrome mid height windshield or something that matches well (even all black) that is higher then the stock shield with more wind protection. I have the stock clear medium from yamaha and can't stand the way it looks. i have seen a number of different silver chrome ones for the GT but nothing for the RTX.

I had the low black which is slightly higher then stock and does not have the V cut into it. I wanted more and had to go with the clear/silver mid. Not much of a choice. Now I have 3 windshields! LOL

Hey! I've only got around 700. My wife is 8mos pregnant so riding is almost out for a far a way trip. I'll be hitting the Higgins hill climb this sunday...you should come. I was the only Apex there last time. The only problem is they put me in with the modded class? Just because it says "1000"?

I put the mid height chrome to black on my RTX and from all the comments I've gotten I like it. There is no candy red mid height out anywhere.

I think that looks pretty good. Does it work okay to keep some of the wind off your hands?
is that aftermarket?

It works really well in conjunction with the power-madd hand guards. Its amazing how much air that 1" lip deflects at the top of the shield. It is listed in the Yamaha access. site.
