Running too much boost?

I bought a stage 2 s/c for my apex and it came with 23 and 25 tooth pulleys. After I put them on my boost is way up around 16-17 psi. I have a shimmed head (.060) and I am running meth injection from Hurricane as well. I have the meth starting at 8 and full spray at 25. Does that sound like the right curve for my set up at sea level. I am running 93 octane now but somedays I might only be able to get 87 or 91 depending on availabliity on the trail. So the next question is: is 16 or 17 psi too close to destruction? I also have the arp head studs as well. I am currently working on my mapping as I am using the pc3/dynojet set-up. I just wanted to check with the motorheads of TY to see what you guys think. Oh yeah I ride about 60/40 on trail to off trail and a little lake racing. Thanks.
 
not sure on meth levels, but thats definately a solid setup motor wise, shimmed with studs your motor is plenty safe there as long as thats enough meth, and hurricane should be able to chime in on how much is enough meth.
 
great question. Wondering myself what to do when you want to do regular trail riding and all the gas station in the woods offers you is #$%&* gas.
I know what the meth does with 91-92 octane, but what about the mom and pop place that only has one old fashion pump
