Welcome to the worlds best snowmobile forum!
It might be easy to find a RX-1 rear suspension. In fact I swore I saw one on E bay but, it may be best for you to look for an Arctic Cat M7 141" or 153" skid. There is one for sale on Snowest right now.
Some have good luck with skids from other brands but I'm not familiar with which ones work best.
So check out E bay, Snowest and then if need be, call RV Sports and talk to Troy, he'll hook you up with a M7 skid (if they have any).
Here's one from the classifieds on this forum:

I think you need a new suspension, I am ripping apart an 04 RX-1 shorty (121") and the skid looks like it's different than a 151" ProAction skid. Front arm looks different. I would do as I am doing, buy a Nytro skid/track and drivers (tons on snowest for a good price, all the mountain guys are going longer and lighter) and install. Get a tunnel extension, Apex Mtn Rear brackets and do some gearing/clutching changes and you are ready to ride!

If you haven't found it yet; the snowest site is http://snowest.com/forum/.
As for you other question; there are guys on here that have used the Arctic Cat mountain suspension. Here's a good topic to find some guys to send private messages to if you have questions on the AC skids. http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php? ... light=skid

Its set for a 162. The brackets are from MPI, I machined a step into the to fit a 16 wide track. It also has a transfer kit in it.
It don't know about a price, make me an offer.
It will come with stock boggies not the billet ones.
