Thinking of making my RX1 a 136" and doing so with an M10. Was originally going to go Expert 121, but have changed my mind. I think it can be done for less than I could upgrade to a Warrior for and give even a better ride. Also, is it worth going the extra mile and adding the Ohlin's or will the fox do the trick? Also, will I just need to buy a tunnel extension, if so who's have you seen and which ones look better? I think the way this thing is built and the motor it is a sled that could be kept for a few years without really worrying about it breaking all that much. Any thought, opinions, or prices appreciated. Track will definately be a Rip Saw so pricing on that would be appreciated also.

I put a 136" M-10 on my RX-1. Used a tunnel extension from MPI. In my opinion, don't get anything other than the Ohlins shocks. If you're going to spend that much, don't cheap out on the shocks. If you're into drag racing and care about top end, the M-10 is not the one. It doesn't transfer well and costs a little on top. You can't beat the ride though.

Had you ever ridden it without all that installed? All you needed was the extension right? Any issues with over heating once that was all installed? I think you are right on the Ohlins, its only $200 difference so it's not all that bad. Do you have any pictures of your sled with the M10 136 in it? Also what did you do to the front?

NH, you have mail. Thanks...BBY

got it, thanks
NH, I started off last year w/ a 136 Ohlins in my Rx. I did ride a stocker that was fully broken in, to feel the motor, and I couldn't wait to get back on mine. I also used a MPI extension.

NHRX1, I did ride it stock for about 800 miles. I wasn't too impressed by the ride, like most of us. I did also put Ohlins on the front. Don't have any pictures that show the skid and suspension very well and it's apart right now as I was adding extensions to the tunnel protectors. I can take some when I get it put back together. Just waiting on some new slides from Richie Rich.....Craig
I am torn between longer rails or extensions for the stock suspension, which I got working well last year with shock changes.
The other solution is the 121" Ohlins M10 sitting in the shop out of my MXZ, which I could make into a 136".
Decisions, decisions, I wand a 136" but what way to go?????????
The track of choice this year for me will be a 9838 all open window 1" six pitch design.
