Don't know if you have seen this, but except for the SR Viper we will also get Apex TTX, FX Nytro TTX, FX Nytro X-Ride and FX Nytro M-Ride.

Great looking sleds, but I must say I am disappointed in Yamaha not offering similar or at least the option to equip our sleds with some of those parts when snowchecking or buying new, especially the shock pkgs.

Still can't figure that one out? I assumed when the Ohlin's and GYTR's disappeared, it was across the board, not just North American models?

Yamaha Finland also sells:

Apex Charged Super Tourer (CST) with MPI supercharger kit @ 240hp
Nytro Charged with MPI supercharger kit @ 180 / 220 hp
Phazer RTX Race with Totaltek suspension, C&A skis.

All of the above have a Playbike graphics kit.

Note that the pricing is a bit different on this side of the pond, Apex CST is close to $30k and a gallon of gas is about $8.5...

I have read about the price differences on here, and although it seems crazy to at least me, is it comparative to your earnings/income compared to our's or is it way over the top in your opinion what a sled costs over there?

Like I mentioned earlier, it would at least be nice to have the option to buy similar sleds or similar pkgs compared to you guys, but I guess I know where Yamaha is selling the most or at least making the most money on sleds, and it is no longer North America.

Id like to get my hands on the phazer stickers... Like the Scandinavian models but I'm eather going 2014 Lynx Boondocker 3900ds or waiting out yamahas 2015 offers..

Wish we could get that in Norway. Also, $30k is very close to what we pay for an Apex without any mods at all!

Can't really say about Sweden or Norway but in here sledding is a genuinely expensive hobby, in relation to our purchasing power.

My country is thoroughly BRP dominated, Lynx and Ski-Doo having a combined 70% of market share. Scandinavian sled sales are change coins for Yamaha Motor Co.

In the US, a 2013 Apex is roughly 27.7% of the median income. If I had a chance I'd dig up a couple comparisons, but feel free to add any.

($50502 is the 2011 median income for a family, $13999 is the list apex cost.)

In Finland, a -13 Apex is 67,5% of annual median household income. €24500 median income for household, €16550 for the Apex.

I agree it is a bit disappointing, but this is a deal between Yamaha Motor Scandinavia, Ohlins, a pivot riser manufacturer and a sticker manufacturer. Maybe other countries want to do the same thing but practical things like production capacity come into play...?
The sleds are actually delivered to the dealers as a normal Apex XTX, FX Nytro XTX and FX Nytro MTX. The shock packages, the pivot risers and the stickers are then added during dealer setup.

That, I wasn't aware of.

In those pics posted, are they Yamaha pics and are those options offered by Yamaha?
If so, and although you likely can't answer it, I am curious why Yamaha doesn't offer some pkgs similar/same over here? (N-A)

wow! That would translate to that apex costing around $35000 in the US, given that same percentage! yeah, wouldn't be sledding...
