First of all I am very sorry that you are having this problem. We are aware that there is an issue and we are working on a fix with the fogging between the lenses. We hope to be able to start sending out replacement shields the week of Feb 19th.

I've been looking at these and they seem to be nice. I don't know any with one to comment, but I'd say give it a try! (let me know what you find out) :tg: I've heard some bad things about the BV2S being really cold at higher speeds. That's why I've been looking at this Scorp.
The bvs2 helmet is far from being cold, far from it,its to darn warm, not enough air comes thru it,all the venting is done thru the mouth piece, heck my older doo modgular was way better, and yes i have both helmets, that is why i went with the exo700 scorp,it should be in this week, but i wont be able to give any feed back for a couple of months.

With the BV2S if it's really warm out you pull the front rubber damper completely out to allow venting, if it's mildly warm you put the damper in with three holes.

I have the BRP EXO700 and to date it has been a very good helmet.

I really like the sun visor feature. However, I have found that it will fog in very cold weather (-20 to -30 C) unless I install the breath deflector.

I have not found it to be cold or drafty like some have reported here.

I have had no issues to date with the electric shield.

I do find the moisture will build up on the chin curtain and in the breath deflector.

I recommend you try one on before you order, they fit tight.

i purchased the 400 for my wife and over the weekend riding it
fogged all the time ,brought it back to the dealer this morning and
they put a new shield on ,they said there was a bad batch of shields
where it was not glued properly.

Just got off the phone with Scorpion today and confirmed this to be true. They did have a bad batch so if yours is fogging quit your bit^&$n and get a replacement. These are awesome helmets....PERIOD.

Get a BV2S its the only good thing Ski-Doo know how to make!!!! BTW the 2007 helmets don't say Bombardier all over it.....Trust me -35 no electric sheild and never ever foged. Also the rear light is amazing my riding buddies could see me easilly

My friend bought this brp helmet with the electric shield. Still has the built in flip down visor. Its a modular style helmet which is cool. The good part is it actually seals off the bottom of the helmet much better than the HJC modulars. I tried using one a few times this winter and found it to be cold.

It has a few brp decals on it but i was thinking of maybe getting one for next season and just pulling the decals off.

hahah speaking from experience are you? I know the HJC modular was cold and i didnt care for it at all but i know 2 people that ride with that helmet and they have no complaints. They ride with a head sock and if you want there is an attachment that covers your whole neck and upper chest if you want it.

I'll grant you that the Summer Use HJC Modular is cold and frosty thick on the shield. And this was using a head sock as well.

I would think the BRP w/heated shield should work nice.
There are very few choices out there without going to NASA.

Now if using a modular during a crash that will smash in the chin, face, brain matter, then at that speed, your neck was broken first.
Phobia Busted.

There's no way I'm going back to a one piece solid.
Common sense is a straight line to infinity. Like 4 stroke.
You can't talk, drink, eat a snack, answer the phone, etc.
Without making matters worse inside helmet.

Besides, if a open face can be DOT, adding face protection is a plus not the other way around.

You should of seen what we used prior to 1980, before real helmets were invented.
