SEAFOAM

I put 2 oz. in the oil and half the bottle in the tank.I wasnt having any problems just preventative maintence. The seafoam works excellent in diesels if you have some junk in an injector (slight miss) or injection pump problems.Ive been using this stuff for years.Best ive found yet. This sled is the first time ive used it in the oil though.

Ive even heard of soaking clogged jets in it and it will clean them right up.

filled up a 2 stroke rm 250 carb. bike just woud'nt run. let it sit for a day. 10 kicks the next day ran so good and to fast had to sell it. it scared me

I used it about 500 miles ago.....Put it in the oil, ran for 10 minutes and did an oil change (I was due).....dumped some in the tank and sprayed the carbs....It seems to me that it cleaned up my motor....It definitely did not hurt anything.....Careful leaving it in the motor thought, I don’t thing you are supposed to run it long with it in oil.

Good stuff BUT ring free worked better on my RX1

Skydog

What I need is a good HOW/TO, the instructions that came with it are vage. Do put some in the gas tank or you like a fuel injecter flush; let the motor run on pure seafoam for amout of time and switch back to gas? If you put some in the oil, how long do wait before removing it? Thing like that.

i soaked a carboned piston one time in pure seafoam and it did absolutely nothing to loosen the carbon. and i do mean NOTHING! my 2 cents

I have and countless others have had good luck with the Seafoam product. I cant believe the difference it has made on my 1997 diesel. I ran one tank through the injectors with a full tank of diesel and one can in the oil. 1500 to 2000 klics later changed the oil. Does not use oil any more gets it original fuel mileage again and idles better. I ran some in my sled prior to this as maintenance as I have never had an oil usage problem so far.
