Yeah, I had the grounding block issue on mine, the one Jasonis speaking of. I was riding through Houghton, MI and was running at about 10-15mph when mine happened. Basically, my seld shut down and threw a slew of codes, luckily I was close to M&M in Houghton and was able to get alot of help from them. Never did get it fixed to save the weekend but the root cause was a grounding block in the wiring harness. It can be repaired (re-attached) but I ha d a YES warranty so they replaced the entire harness instead. The block as I've been told, is next the oil dipstick.
There are several other 07 owners who also have had this same issue and I suspect for the same reason. I beleive the full setting on the handlebar warmers are drawing too much current over time or can spike and that creates enough resistance that the solder connection breaks or comes undone. I suspect that the electronics (for self-preservation) has a kill code if any ground circuit isn't working to prevent further damage.
Good luck!

Thanks for the details Greg. This is ironic, because the hand warmers are so weak compared to other brands out there. Very interesting.

Yellowknife, I just found this thread and spent the whole evening watching and reading it up to date. All I can say is Wow, what a fantastic Blog, I am hooked. I used to do a lot of Video stuff but had to give it up as it was so time consuming. Like you guys we have a group of about 6 guys that pick a new adventure almost every weekend. One day I will have to put a compilation video together with all the new stuff I have. Here are some of my old Video's of the boys weekends that I can offer up as a interlude until the Mountain expedition comes back.

I am back! I'm still working on the video...I spent 4 hours on it yesterday and only got 2 minutes of it done so far! I'll keep pluggin away.
The phazer is waiting on a new wiring harness, which is apparantly a backordered part.
I have the Nytro back and it is running great. I will have more details early in the week with video/pics from this weekend - the revy stuff will come later.
