seat removal

Anyone have step by step instructions in taking off the seat on an '09 Vector? I did a search here and came up empty. Thanks.

Take off the exhaust & tail-light shrouding at the rear. Under the shrouding & above the tail-light you'll see two studs with nuts. Take the nuts off, this will loosen the rear of the seat.

Now go towards the front of the seat, and between it & the tunnel will be a phillips head screw (one on each side) remove these. They can be a Bitchh, not much room between seat & tunnel. This will also loosen the gastank, I think?? So just be aware.

Now the seat will slide up, back & off. The tail-light wires will be along the right-hand side of the tunnel. You'll have to disconnect that to get the seat totally off.

The seat has a hook that goes in & under the gastank, so make sure at re-assembly that it hooks under the tank.
