On the dyno chart it says (on pump gas) what kind of fuel was running through it when you got them big gains??? Wasnt high octane racing fuel was it?

It was 91 pump gas almost 2 months old sitting in my tank.
But it did have some fuel stabalizer in it.

Just to add, my gains were made on last seasons 87 octane that had seafoam in it...you don't need to run anything special to make these gains...87 will do fine.

I though the clutches efficiency goes to hell after 9k? I was under the impression that while your engine may make more power, you might not be putting that power down as efficiently.
It does go to hell. For trail riding, you do not really want to to go over much more then 9000-9200 with exhaust, airbox and FC. But, If I was going to the lake, I could change clutching and spin up to 9400-9500 to help increase top end as my timing is raised 6 degrees at 9500 to get more top end.

So, this test was done on a stock machine, no exhaust or tune?

One thing I did note while my sled was on the dyno.
It made good HP running at water temp around or just below 160F and oil temp below 180F
As soon as it passed over those temps like 165 / 185 power dropped also.
Keeping these girls cool is important.

So, how do we do that... Keeping them cool, would be good, but hard to do that with no rear cooler?

All we did was run base line all stock machine, stock ECU, then clip on Pat's Air Box Lid. That is the result.
We were testing as much intake stuff on a stock machine as we had time for. Once we had big gains there, we put on the Hindle, then started A/F tuning.

No kidding... My sled NEVER runs at 160! It's always around 180 unless in low snow.

It's hard to say if it was water temp or oil temp that caused the power loss.
It had fresh 0w-40 full syn. Mobil One in there for the dyno test.
I was thinking of running an extra oil cooler.
Many of the bikes I've owned over the years have small rad, oil coolers.
The outboard oil tank has a vent there for a reason, and that tank is suppose to act like and oil cooler.
