Setting up and using mcx megatune? Help!

Does anyone have a step for step lesson to set up the program? I got the program emailed to me from Eric but I can't get it to work. I downloaded the drivers and the megatune file. I have the mega tune icon on the desktop. When I open megatune it asks for a project. I don't know which one to choose. But I have tried all of them and none of them give me any info. I have made sure the box and computer are both on the same com# and still nothing. When I have mega tune open and the box plugged into the pc adm turn the ignition on the pc beeps. This tells me it is connect but I can't get any thing when just ignition is on or when it its running? I have a 2010 nytro with the 270 mcxpress Ecu gen 5
Can anyone give me any info on what to do or help me set it up again step for step?!

Also to mention no errors or anything come up and using Windows 10 if that matters?

Project gen5, ica 1.0 (eca) . I dont remember exactly, but something like that.
Not offline mode
You must find communication port. Choose lowest speed. When you are connected to the mcxbox, you can se your fuel/boosttable. Save, and start working

Hey, thank you Stigapex for all the steps and pictures.
Do you know by any chance how to download/upload maps from my sled to my computer using the mcx efi box Gen5, modify it with MegaTune or MegaSquirt and load back the modified map to my sled.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes I got mine working, I don’t know if there are maps online but with this you can create your own maps. Super easy to use!

Thanks for the reply. I've got mine communicating now, but don't find it that easy to use, or maybe it's that I don't understand the tables totally. For example what does the kPa number mean and the ms numbers actually mean? Also I'm getting an error when I connect where the controller signature doesn't match and I'm assuming it's probably a problem in the controller although it seems to work when I answer "no" to terminate and continue on. I seem to be able to read the tables, but have not tried to change them yet as I'd like to save the existing ones to have a backup in case I screw them up. Has anyone else seen this error? I believe my controller is a gen3.
Has anyone tried other software such as TunerStudio and MegaLogViewer with the MCX controllers?
