Whats your input on reducing belt to sheave clearance.
Thinner split collars versus moving the sheave ?
The 911 response clutch cover is moving the sheave to reduce the clearance. But that will preload the spring a bit and change the starting angle of the weigths vs. Maching the split collar may need a rebalancing of the clutch.
Any ideas of what is the best way ?

10 to 15 thou..but you will have to machine it to get that..it would be easier to get a wider belt and machine it to fit

911 cover is the ticket.... .015-.020 on belt clearance. Your over thinking it on the spring pre-load and weight position.
