Seems like my reverse is getting worse on my 07 phazer. Before usually could just rock it and get it to engage, lately been worse and worse. I have done a few things.
1. Idle is around 1800
2. I have put a little more slack in the chaincase
3. I have updated the grommet for the reverse

Is there an updated belt? What are the shimming instructions for the secondary?

Take the secondary apart and add one washer in between the sheaves.

Is number 8 the circlip to be replaced? Thought I had read somewhere that it needs to be replaced.
I rarely do unless it appears damaged or worn.
Just remember with circlips only to open them up enough to remove. Not any extra.
