Should i Get a box for Apex & kind?

I got a 08 Apex LtX
only mod is a bender mtn exaust, SHould I get a Air box? and if so what kind

they make more power and rpms....especially on top...but there is significant "wa" sound under throttle...

I have a lid that has been cut and is ready for prefilter material...which I have as well in the classifieds

or if you want something already done...I can get you one like mine pictured below for 150.00
