You dont want snowcross shocks for trail sled....or do you launch your sled 60 feet across the air?Hey Dan, looks like a lot of the Snocross guys are running the air shocks so they must handle some pretty rough stuffs.
Coils are what make for a nice plush ride....any float shock wont ever ride like a coil. My cat with floats rode like a dump truck at best. But if you want them go for it, many people have different needs and wants. Floats are used more on MT sleds for weight savings and where mogul type trail riding is not done.

Runnin scared, don't be afraid to buy rc2's, I have them and they are equally as good in stutter bumps and are much better for big mogels and big hits. They are awesome
