looks good. good option for staying warm. stock medium on mine isn't very tall, not as sporty looking, enough to block most wind. not sure what height above console is on the stock one.

I have this on mine and while it's not sporty it looks pretty good for the most part. I'm more interested in keeping warm than looking cool...I mean looking cold.

Less to do with looks and more to do with looking thru something for me.....I have always hated anything in front of me, looking thru a distorted piece of plastic all day absolutely drives me OCD brain insane...lol
Same reasons I have always ran all my harleys or other motorcycles over the years without farings.
I have never been able to ride sleds with a tall window, I love a clear unobstructed view of the trail ahead. This is why I do appreciate the DOOs clear windows and clear handgaurds. Just something that I like more for my peripheral vision.
Lucky for me Im alway warm and most the time overheated...so I like low always to keep me cooled off and not sweating. I like the SE window BEST overall, perfect combo of looks and nice lip to toss wind overtop similar to my X package window on my 12o0 did. If anyone has an SE window in black tones they want to sell, let me know...Id like to have that for up north trips. Will stick with Low LE for day to day around my area though.

Between New Richmond and Amqui in the Gaspe peninsula. We looped the peninsula in 6 days and it was one of the best trips I ever went on and I have been on some awesome trips. Had it not been for my wife convincing me we were going this Winter would have been a major bust for me and my brand new Sidewinder.Where is this pic taken?

I hate looking through a windshield also, but at 5' 9'' i still see over the medium Yamaha shield.

No I mean altogether....(peripheral)I hate looking through a windshield also, but at 5' 9'' i still see over the medium Yamaha shield.
I rode one with that window, and it drove me nuts...lol
Never been able to ride any sled with any type of window in my way. Also the reason I dont like the tcat window or others that are mid height and PAINTED. The blocking of peripheral vision. Same reason I like the clear hand guards ect...

I am adding that trip to my list .Between New Richmond and Amqui in the Gaspe peninsula. We looped the peninsula in 6 days and it was one of the best trips I ever went on and I have been on some awesome trips. Had it not been for my wife convincing me we were going this Winter would have been a major bust for me and my brand new Sidewinder.
When I do I may add a higher windshield for comfort.
Is your wife on TY ?
Sounds like she should be .
Maybe she could convince Yamaha to derattle the primary , or transfer on the 137 , or address secondary issues , or having a fiche for more than one SW model , or having more parts/accessories available during the season they were released , or.........

I have the same one except tinted, really worked excellent on coldddd days, but it made my beauty look a bit normal, so I trimmed 3.5" from it! Now it looks good and works good except for the coldest of days. There was no wind felt at all out back of this windshield before I fixed that. Lol
