I'm a new 08 Nytro RTX owner that is totally stock (except for the aftermarket muffler i put on it). My buddy has an 09 Nytro RTX SE. He has owned alot of yami's over the years and is very sneaky but loves to RUN to hauck and spend a sh*tload of money on getting more ponies. My question is........ What are the cheapest HP upgrades i can do to wax his a$$
?
As far as i know he has the following hauck options:
Hauck head pipe
Hauck Husher (same muffler i made myself)
Hauck clutch kit
Hauck fuel accelerator
He also mentioned some sort of ignition change.
I wanna silently CRUSH him!! haha.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Oh ya, we both are running 144 1.4" studs.
P.s. TURK....... Can I do simple clutch mods to my stock clutch or do i need an aftermarket "kit"?
Thanks everyone........ I love this forum!!

Those mods don,t add as much as you think...been der dun dat with that set up.
Run drag n flies & be close or even beat him.
Not running hauck stuff this year & my xtx is quicker then my 08 with some clutching & I did keep the k and n,s with fuel accelerator.

Do you mean a complete clutch kit, meaning springs, helix and new weights....... or does the stock clutch have holes in the tips of the weights and i can just add/subtract weights and get the exact numbers I need?Turk said:Those mods don,t add as much as you think...been der dun dat with that set up.

I bought the excell exhaust and wow that made a huge difference, then i put a ulmer clutch kit in, I kinda what to try the dragon fly though. I know that these two mods has allowed me to run with the apexs even steven, actually i can beat them off the line with my 09 Nytro XTX.

good basic clutching is your biggest gain. Anything after that is less return for money spent.
You can buy drag n flies right from supertorquer if your in the us or boss performance in canada.
I have played with different helix,s with these weights & not found any gains.

I also Recommend the "drag"n"flys" They are awsome. I also have the excell setup with the k&n filters but i think turk is right on all the mods made i think my stock setup with these drag"n" flys would still be pretty close, i think if you were to put these in you would beat your pals sled
