Does anyone make ski covers/boots for Simmons dual runners skis that will prevent the carbides from tearing up an aluminum loading ramp?
Do they work? How tough are they?

They're called 2x4's. Take a couple of 2x4's and bolt them onto the bed so that the ski tunnels ride over them. You'll see that the wearbars are about 1/2 inch above the aluminum.
