I am on the fence for what skis to get, curve, slydogs, c&a, tuner skis. I had powderhounds on my nytro and loved the colour options and 7 inch width for off trail riding but looking perhaps for other options. What is everyone else purchasing for their Vipers?

IF the AC skiis are still on when we get them I will start with my 6.9 Pilots with 6" Shaper center and Doo outside and go from there. I will not put up with buying the $200 worth of carbide most Cat guys spend for their stock skiis and then they still push.At least the old Yamaha skiis did not push with good carbides. Hoping we get tuner skiis though. Would like to try them.

I like those shaper bars too, had them on the slydogs. I would like to try the tuners too but I am thinking the width is to narrow for my type of riding.

I seem to remember I did see the Tuner Ski in the SR Viper accessory catalog...?

On the other hand, the Arctic Cats have worked very well with SLP Powder Pros. Most guys around here have them.
Yes they are I have the pdf of the accessories. Decisions decisions lol

I kept my white C&As from my Nytro and will put those on the Viper as soon as it comes off the trailer from the dealer....... ;)!

Just hoping Yamaha doesnt take a step backward in Ski area. Anyone who rides hard with AC guys knows the Cat skiis are worse than any ski Yamaha has had. We shouldnt have to buy skiis.

I was thinking the same thing, I sold the sled to my brother and I do not think he is to concerned on what skis my nytro comes with.

skis

Asked the rep. at the dealers ride if my tuner skis will fit and he said yes.Kept them from my 13 Vector and will put them on my viper when I get it.Sharper bars 41/2 inch on inside 2 inch Woody,s on the outside. Will start from there.

How are they for off trail riding?

From the experience I've had on the demo ride and riding my buddies pro cross I don't think I would change a thing , stockers seemed to work great.

For me the only time the stock AC skiis worked great was on hardpack or ice. Everywhere else they pushed under hard cornering and slowed the cat guys down so bad in the twisties the Phazer made them look real bad.Even the Turbo's could not keep up. Not just one occasion. All the time if snow wasnt hard as a rock.
