I am trying to replace my ski's..What is the best and safest place to jack the front of the sled..i was hoping to use a floor jack..It is real heavy... as if you guys didn't know that :)

I just jacked mine to put my new carbides on, right between the skis underneath the motor.

A bottle jack with a 1 foot piece of 2x4 or 2x6 under the belley pan.

A floor jac, with same (wood) under the a arm but cover the wood with a stack of rags.

when i did my skis.one side at a time.i put a rag on the floor jack and jacked up under the control arm were it goes thru the bulk head.not the arm it self.

Is that a bottle jack or a bottle of jack :drink:

sears has a nice motorcycle lift on sale, $70. I used it to do my shocks ,worked great.IT ifted the front of the sled with no problem

Another cheap and easy way is a milk crate in the center of belly pan behind ski center. More stable than jack and 2x4 combo. Lift front and kick crate under from the front or have someone slide it in from the side..

lucky you are in the states, in Canada they arrest you for stealing milk crates.

hehe- I caught crap for that in here, with a trailer sitting on one, that isnt even my trailer, or my yard.
