Skid plate removal 2010 vector

Hello, any help would be appreciated I have an oil leak on my 2010 vector. How do I remove the original skid plate. Do the rivets have to be drilled out??

It didn't come with a skid plate from the factory, are you referring to the aluminum under structure?

Yes I’m referring to the aluminum under structure or would I have to pull engine?

Yes engine pull would be best. You may be able to drill out but yamaha rivets are near indestructible and getting them back in and straight would be tough. Where is the leak?

Yeah that’s what I thought. Oil is dripping off from bottom of engine and then out though the aluminum frame on right side. I can’t see exactly where it’s coming from. I checked all the abvious things but no luck. So I’m thinking a gasket maybe.

is it coming from the oil filter? there is a door for that on there.
