the only concern i would have with going too narrow is high speed stability. these sled are capable to going 100mph. Yes I do realize that when you are boondocking and riding in deep powder you are not going anywhere too quickly but there are those occassions that you find yourself wanting to open it up in a wide open area. I would hate to find out the limits of having a too narrow front end with the thing pinned. So often the case it seems when you improve things in one area you make things worse in other areas. just my opinion though

just gear your sled down real low so your top speed is much lower... lol

First mountain sled I ever had, had a ski stance of like 32"........real interesting!!!!!

Ok since you are obviously good at fabricating things why dont you build a nytro with a 32 in wide ski stance and let us all know how things work for you. I would be willing to bet i already know the answer.

Haha! 32" is and was a little on the narrow side! I will never forget a certain corner that I went around totally laid over. Immediately afterwards that sled got another 4" of ski stance.

Got them done yesterday. 38" wide (ski spacer adjustment gives you 36-40" adjustment), +3" forward. Independently adjustable camber and caster. Proper shock placement (no funky shock angles or shock mods required).
