Just traded the old Viper "S" in on a new "11" Nytro XTX.....alas no more oil ! Wanted to upgrade the skis and was looking @ C&A Pro XTX skis? Any suggestions? thxs :yam:

I'm debating between the C&A XTX and the Slydog Powderhound 7's. I like the quality in the C&A's but also like the price tag of the Slydog's.

Decisions, decisions...

I put the Slydog Race Skis on my 09 Nytro XTX. They are great for me. I have the Slydog Trail skis on my 05 Warrior, they are thinner and flex more. That's why I went to the race ski. They do have good floatation, but the Powderhounds are probably better for the real deep stuff.

:yam: :4STroke: :rocks:

Seeing how you're from PA I'd think a good handling trail ski would be more important than skis with good floatation. I think the Curves fit the Nytro's handling characteristics the best for aggressive trail riding and they float better than the stock skis.

Most of my sled time is up north, Tug,VT and a trip to Quebec......maybe a day or two in PA.....not alot of trail and suspect weather
