I'm debating between the C&A XTX and the Slydog Powderhound 7's. I like the quality in the C&A's but also like the price tag of the Slydog's.

I put the Slydog Race Skis on my 09 Nytro XTX. They are great for me. I have the Slydog Trail skis on my 05 Warrior, they are thinner and flex more. That's why I went to the race ski. They do have good floatation, but the Powderhounds are probably better for the real deep stuff.

I have the powderhounds and love them. Lots of flotation and bite.

Seeing how you're from PA I'd think a good handling trail ski would be more important than skis with good floatation. I think the Curves fit the Nytro's handling characteristics the best for aggressive trail riding and they float better than the stock skis.

I too have a brand new 11' XTX. Just put Sly Dog trails on mine. Hope they work...
