Hi, gentlemen I am the new owner of a Sr Viper LTX and am looking to upgrade the skis and runners. I am mostly a trail rider mostly due to previously owning a 2006 Vector. I am looking to do more off trail riding this year and have set my eyes on 2 skis. The C&A Razors or the SLP Powder Pro 7". Going to stick with Stud Boy shaper bar 6". Any input is appreciated. Thanks Mike
You might want to try this in the viper section. There are quite a few guys running Mohawks and curves but not sure on the razors and powder pro's. I have only run the stock skis with dually 8" carbides and simmons with 4 - 8" on mine but the XTX is a different animal than the LTX

If you don't want heavy steering i would not get either of those skis, the people that have tried either of those skis on a viper had really hard steering. if you want really good off trail with easy turning and good predictability on trial get the slp mohawks its the powder pro design with the slt trail riding ability's. i would also not get the sharper bars the viper chassis does not like aggressive carbides like the apex chassis did if you get mohawks the best carbide is just the 6" round bar. another good reported ski for the viper is curves xs. I personally just bought the mohawks with the really good reviews for all around riding. Like yamadog said search around on the viper section you will find more reviews on there.Hi, gentlemen I am the new owner of a Sr Viper LTX and am looking to upgrade the skis and runners. Might want to look into slydog 7 or 8 inch also. We have been running them for years and they are great on the trail and even better in the powder. I think they are often overlooked and I'm not sure why because they're a awesome ski.

Thanks looking into to skis further with the help of this community the MoHawks look to be the choice.

I run SLP powder pro's with slp 6" bar on and works great with easy steering , I ran the stud boy shaper bars but they were way to aggressive on this chassis and was to hard to turn
