The way I've heard it (and this came from a Simmons dealer) you will still be able to buy the precision skis in the US for 7 more years. There is a law on the books that mandates manufacturers must do this! Think about it! How would it work if some company made a product and sold 10's of thousands of a certain model, then up and stopped making replacement parts!! NOT gonn'a happen. Doo just can't put the precision skis on NEW sleds from here on out!
Thats pretty much what I was told by a ski-doo dealer.

I agree Duane but the fact is the bottoms are not available from the S-D wharehouses anymore. The only ones out there are dealer stock
