Storage of a Mar Lift

Is the winch bracket welded in place, or can it be removed for storage as to get it to lay flat? About how long is the lift?

Do the wheels swivel for moving the sled on the lift?

Just watched the video on the Mar Lift site and it appears to be a good product?

It is bolted with 2 bolts and has a arm that fits into a piece of square tubeing to help support it.It will fold for storage.

The whhels on front of lift do swivel they are casters

It is a exellent product thats why i am giving it such a good review been taken before on Immitation good luck

Mar Lift for me!

Ordered a Mar Lift today. Thanks for the answers to my questions on the lift.

Should make life a bit easier when servicing the sleds.

U will find out soon enough, know all u need is 1 of those seats with wheels and tool tray under lol I started checking sled out a few weeks back and couldnt believe the pain in the butt it is to get down and check aroound i guess i am getting old :?

You are going to be smiling while working on your sleds now and your knees are going to thank you the most.

Well, I got my Mar-Lift (w/wheel kit) and Half-Mar and I am very impressed. It works as advertised and is VERY stable. The winch with the brake is an excellent feature. Note: the Half-Mar has a standard winch only, but then...it doesn't really need the brake winch.

All in all...I give it "2 thumbs up" !!! ;)! ;)!

I make and sell the lifts on e-bay that was posted in the first post (thats a very old ad). And yes they will work on an apex without a problem. I will put my stand up against any out there.

Review of mar-lift and Shop Dolly

I bought a mar-lift when Jim first started making them, and I bought another one 4 years ago. It is the best lift on the market that I have seen, and the safest, which when you are working under a sled like the RX-1's weight, is good to know. The BEST... By the way the best shop dolly that I have seen and use with the RX series sleds, and any other sled made is at Royaldistributing in Ontatio Canada and is called the Premium Super Duty and sells for 299.95. Part # is 12-345...The BEST...
