Your welcome and good choice!

i got a lift at nelsons this year at snowmotion. it looks just like richs, it was $160. BUT the wheels where b.o. supose to be in next month. killer deal though. it does say MADE IN CHINA right on the box, so i'll see how long it last.

I build lifts and sell them usally on e-bay. PM me with your e-mail and i will send you some pics if your interested.

I just received bohn333 sled lift yesterday and let me tell you guys, this thing is very well built. The powder coating is top notch. In fact i still have it sitting in the middle of my living room......don't know why the wife's pissed off??? Now if only I can figuire out how to fit the sled in the living room.....good way to get divorced pronto. :drink:

Thanks Dan ;)!

I just received a lift from bohn333 (Dan) as well, including his new wheel kit.

Quality of this lift is EXCELLENT. Welds are clean and full. The paint job is SUPURB! The wheel kit consists of heavy duty casters and mounts.

I don't have my sled out of storage yet so no comments on the lift mechanicals. Hopefully I'll get to use it soon.

I was seriously looking at purchasing a MAR lift this year, as others have, but was held back by the grand total with wheel kit being over $400 shipped...too much for my wallet. I think Dan's lift is as good as, if not better than, a MAR lift. Granted, it's not the same design but the quality is definitely there.

Dan is pretty quick at respond to questions via email or PM's.

Thanks Dan! ;)!

P.S. I have no association with bohn333 other than being satisfied with my purchase from him.

I have no idea how high any of these lifts are lifting your sleds, but that makes a HUGE difference in how strong the lift needs to be. My Dad and I had one built that lifts an RX-1 36" off the floor. It's nice to get it that high, but we went through some trials before we got it strong enough to get that first part of the lift where you are getting the sled off the floor. Also, we made the mistake of using a lead screw, and it is very hard to turn it at the beginning. We should have gone with the winch.

Mar lift

Just an update after using the Mar Lift several times

This is a quality lift and I feel it is money well spent......

I also have the marlift with success. The only problem I had was the wheels it came with were poor and somewhat dirty/stiff for spinning. Pricey for the unit, but I try and forget about that now that I have it. lol

Hey Mar-Lift owners, how high does the Mar-Lift lift your sled off the floor? Does the base model come with wheels or do you have to pay more?

The running board height is approx 32" off the floor with the wheel kit. (wheel kit option)
You could always do your own wheel kit, but you need to make sure the lift isn't very high so that you have the clearance to slide lift under the sled before lifting.

what's the pound rating on the mar-lift, unless i didn't see it doesn't have that info on the website if any of you know please post.thanks
