Ok not sure what is going on and it's not all the time more of an intermittent thing. At WOT for many miles on end when I left off the throttle slightly the engine spits a little and loses power until I get back on the throttle then power comes back on. I thought I read of someone on here with the same symptoms but no luck finding a topic. I was thinking maybe stator starting to act up because I just rolled 6100 miles. I just did the exhaust donuts when I swapped out the new cam tensioner so that's not the issue. I have a new in box stator sitting in the garage that I was going to change when I did the cam tensioner but opted not to until this ones dies. Anyone else experience the same problem????

Are you sure it's engine related?
I am experiencing a similar problem with my '06 Nytro. After a long WOT pull, I would let off the throttle and cost down (probably to about 50-60mph) then get into the throttle. It seemed like I had a major power loss and I hear a noise which I at first thought came from the engine. After this happened another time or two, I came to realize that the noise wasn't coming from the engine. It was coming from the clutch. I now know that one of the clutches is sticking, and that the noise is the clutch spring slamming it back. I haven't figured out if it is the primary that sticks (and is slamming back open) or if it is the secondary that sticks (and slams closed). I suspect that it is the secondary. I dissassembled the secondary, and found a wad of crud on the shaft, right at the end of it's movement. I've cleaned it, but haven't had a chance to ride it yet.
So ... long story short - are you sure it's engine related, and not a clutch sticking after a WOT pull. I have a similar thing and it is the clutch.

You know what I just had my secondary off to change the twist on the helix prior to this happening. You might be on to something here. I have an Ulmer kit on it's way and I'll see if it happens when I get it installed...

Have you checked your TORS adjustment/switches?
