So went for a good ride today just shy of 250 miles. Worked great other them my nos switch not working for some reason. But yeah came home went inside for the hours forgot to turn my bottle heater of. Went to start it wouldn't start boosted it. It ran drive about for hundred feet it just died out. Towed it in. Charged it for five mins and same thing happened four times. spits and sputters back fires misses, then dies. put a new battery so illiminates that issue. tried a proven working voltage regulator. im running out of ideas.

Got any sled info? The grounding blocks have been a problem on some sleds.

are you sure it's electrical and not a fuel related problem? With the sputtering and backfiring it sounds like it could have jumped time although I don't believe the 4 cylinder engines had a problem with that.
