Hi,
Got a -19 SW MTX-LE, with MCX 250 kit.
There is a Camso Epic 280 3" 153 track on it.
In powder, ther is no problem, but when in heavier (frozen) or wet snow, where the traction is better the no-slip drive sprockets start slipping.
It is a terrible sound!
It occurs when giving full throttle from standing still.
Found no root cause to problem.
Machine recently on service at yamaha dealer.
Told about the problem and wanted them to check.
They checked track adjustment and drive sprockets wearing according to this problem but the autorized dealer cant find any reason to this.
Do one need to tighten a track more on an chipped SW?
How mutch is possible to tight before track will break or bearing or drive shaft will give up?
Anyone hade similar problems or any idea how to find out the reason?
Anyone whit same track (Camso Epic 280, 3", 153") on an SW and running it without thesee problems?

If the track and track drive sprockets are not damaged just start tightening the track one turn at a time evenly on both of the adjuster bolts until the ratcheting stops. Track ratcheting is common on high hp, high traction applications and will dictate how tight your track needs to be.
