So I got my new slydog powder hounds in today and went to install them and the rubber doesnt seem to fit proper. It doesnt have the same angles as the stock ones and is tight. Can I get away with using my stock ski rubbers in the powder hounds or will that cause problems?

I have a set of Powder Hounds on my MTX and the first time it was tough to get the bolts through. I can't remember which way the mounts go but if I remember it says in the directions. I let the weight of the sled compress the rubbers. I would not suggest using the stock rubbers.

High or taller side to the rear.

The bolt was tight for me too, just drop the sled and give the bolt a tap with a hammer.
