I just purchased a set of slydog race skis and 6 inch shaper bars.I read somewhere here that these skis need to be toe in ? Is this correct and if so why when all other skis are to be set with toe out. Thanks for the help

You will have to check for toe in. You don't want this, you will want to have I believe 1/4 inch toe out. Some one correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a while since I did it.

On Slydog skis you want them set at 0 or 1/8" toed in. The skis will flex out when driving that is why you want the toe in on the Slydog skis.

On the FX Nytro & Phazer models the tall end of the ski rubber goes towards the rear of the ski. You have it installed correctly.

I rode all year last year with slydogs and tried the toe'd in theory............ it was horrible to the point where it almost bucked me off once slowing down on a road. I have since milled my upper balljoints and gone to a 1/2" toe out and the handling is 100x better....... I guess to each there own!
