Its important to fix this if it has moved when you blow a belt, becouse if the shaft has moved then the next time you blow a belt then the crank will take the side force of the impact the shives make when they bang together.

Yes! It will be heat when the primary is rubbing against those 4 bolts. Is it possible that this couldve been making excessive heat in the clutch?

I have a 2018. Never had the clutch off. Just outer half. Replaced my 17 with button heads but figured they would've addressed this problem. Is this actually still an issue in 18? If so I'm disgusted and totally disappointed.

I am going to ask a stupid yet obvious to me question...leaving the four bolts intact...why couldnt one use the clutch retaining bolt with the slide hammer and pull the stub and shaft back out?

I tried, didn't work, maybe need a B'rFSH. Its probably not as easy as we'd think because the press fit is all that holds the shaft in place. The design shouldn't allow lateral movement or they'd all possibly move inward eventually.I am going to ask a stupid yet obvious to me question...leaving the four bolts intact...why couldnt one use the clutch retaining bolt with the slide hammer and pull the stub and shaft back out?

Another question... to Whoever.... When you add your primary bolt and torque... Are you using grease on the bolt or thread locker?

Mines at the dealer getting parts replaced and fixed. I highly recommend fixing it. Heat, offset, etc problems.

Service manual shows 8.7 ft. lbs. So 105 inch lbs.

Sled is back from the dealer. They replaced stationary primary sheave, primary mounting bolt & stub shaft #*$&@'y (bearing, seals, shaft) under warranty. Pic showing newly installed stub shaft #*$&@'y bearing.
Primary is now 2.5mm further away from the engine so no more hitting the bolts heads and much further from the water pump & it's heat. Pic showing bolt head clearance behind primary.
With no shims I can now get down to 58.7mm offset, which is refreshing considering my belt appeared to be doglegged and in need of less shim.
I'm hoping that the new parts, changing the offset, not rubbing bolt heads and the primary being farther away from the engine will reduce heat and help to stop blowing belts.
