So I admittedly envy ski doo's linq system and wish there was a way I could make use of that extra space on the rear of my ltx se for a fuel caddy of sorts without installing a large tunnel rack and strapping a gas tank down.

Does anyone know of an aftermarket low-profile fuel caddy system that will mount on the rear of a new viper?

Yes. Powder Keg has one. They are working on their site so I can't tell u pricing.

So what's the big deal??? just buy the LINQ brackets and mount them on your sled!! it will fit no problem

I guessing because he'll get ripped by his ski-doo buddies for using BRP bags and tanks on his Viper. lol

Rotopax

The rotopax and koplin systems work great on tunnel decks. The mounting block is solid.
Check out their websites.

Lower right hand corner of the page:

Part # K115010

Call these guys and they can have it (and the Kolpin fuel pack junior) drop shipped to your house from Mi or NY depending on where it's in stock:
http://www.upnorthsports.com/

The part # you see is the bracket only and not the Kolpin portion. The part # for that is listed in the bracket description, 14-0191.

The kit is designed to mount into the rails of a Polaris long track but it will bolt on to any tunnel with no issues and uses the Kolpin fuel can/pack quick connect/disconnect system. The Kolpin part is sold seperately.. it also works with roto pax. It's a quality kit, made in Mn by KFI. It even has holes for bungie cords or a net so you can stack items on top of the fuel can if need be.
