Spark Plug Gap (Powertrail) How Important??

I just put exhaust and a Powertrail tune on my 21 Thundercat. How important is it to re-gap plugs to .020 -.022? Factory sais there at .027. I'm being lazy, the sled only has 500 miles on it and plugs are probably like new, looks like a pain in the #*$&@ to get in there to change them ...

You might be alright, then again maybe not, all comes down to how bad you want something. Boost goes up and the ability to light the candle goes down.

My sled has the PowerTrail tune on it and only has 850 miles. I didn't do anything with the plugs last season when I got the sled and it ran fine for the 500 miles that I rode it. Last weekend I installed a set of NGK Iridium plugs gapped to 0.020". The factory plugs were around 0.030".

2 years on stock plugs with Powertrail. Never missed a beat. I think it is more important on the higher boost tunes to have a smaller gap.
