Changing the spark plugs on my 2012 Vector for the first time at 12,000 miles . Took the plugs out of the box and noticed they have threaded terminals and not capped. My 13 Apex has caps so I’m assuming they have different coils? I’m sure I have the right plug taken from the clutch cover Cr8e NGK. Why would one have a threaded terminal end and the other a cap?

Can’t answer your question as to why, but yes, the cr8e plugs used in the three holer’s are cap less.

Here is what you need as I have encountered this before with the NGK plugs I run:
NGK spark plug terminal nut 145-48
